Is it hard to move to anther country?

Yes:

Cultural differences.

Language barriers.

Work visas.

Long distance relationships.

Currency exchange difference.

Is it hard to move to anther country?
It shouldn't be. Look how many people come here with no problem.
Reply:Not if it's England!! We let anyone in!!

Just bluff your way through customs - and the 'state' will probably give you loads of money for your troubles!!
Reply:if u don't know the language, it's lil' bit hard
Reply:If I had to move to live in a country with desert and warm climate for instance - it would be killing. But if its cool and green, and there are mountains - I would not mind. Very important is the language - how easy/hard it would be to learn to speak it. If you don't know what it is not to be able to speak/read the language, just imagine you can't say anything when people talk to you, and you can't read any signs - what is a restaurant, what is a drugstore, where do the trains and buses go ... So, imagine the loneliness. It's awful! But if you have a job and people to communicate with; if you are an eager learner and interested in other people's cultures - oh, yes, go for it!
Reply:In what sense ? emotionally or just hard to even get there due to the laws?

I do know that to come to the US, you have to go through a number of routes to get here... and even then you are not permanent unless you marry someone there or you manage to find work and work enough years to apply for permanent residency.

As for Australia my friend applied for citizenship, but first you must do a survey/questionairre whereby it'll ask you about your background, age, occupation etc and give you a score at the end.

If you qualify then you are through to the 2nd stage....

This is where you have to pay up over $20,000 just to get a visa that will last you a few years ?!?! I think.... and after that you need to renew the visa..

It's all very complicated, because the older you get the less points you get on your survey.. your in job thats in demand you get more points.... etc etc....

But he is thinking of literally immigrating with family... but if looking for work only .. then you have to jump hurdles for a work visa....

So depending on the popularity of the country you may have to jump through more hurdles if it's in demand....

So yes it's HARD !!!
Reply:It takes a lot of planning and coordination. And you have to wait quite awhile for your household goods to arrive, if you ship them. But it isn't so hard that it can't be done. So if you want to do it, plan it well and do it!
Reply:nah I did it.. trouble is getting work if you are not legal..some countries its not so hard to work illegally..some places in europe are easy but others like Holland are very difficult without paperwork.
Reply:To answer this question fully, it would help to know your situation. Like which country you live in, and which country that you wish to relocate to. I have lived in many different countries in the world, and have found it relatively easy.

For many people the answer to the question would be yes, to others it might be as easy as sneaking over the border.
Reply:Know the language, be young, have a job specialty the country needs, ....check with their embassy.
Reply:it depends on so much factors regarding the country which you want to go there.
Reply:no it depneds what your leaving behind sometimes being open to changes and new culture and enviorment although it may hurt the people you leave behind such as a bf/gf or family
Reply:dunno
Reply:no, it depends what you are doing tho. I moved overseas to Japan even tho i am American i live there on a dodds kind of thing
Reply:Yes, but that will depend on what country you have in mind.
Reply:for me the most painfull part was the actual leaving. the settling went very smoothly.
