As far as I see it Iran has never attacked or showed any aggression towards its neighbors or the West!





The West can not see Iran develop to major power! Iran must be kept down so oil prices stay down with it!





All these accusations of Iran supporting terrorism is a hoax to give the public reasons to attack Iran!





Iran's growth rate have been above 5% the last few years and this is worring west!

Israel has never used its nukes against anyone. Lest I remind you they are at war with every Arab nation in the world with the exception of Jordan and Egypt...I think they have a right to defend themselves.





Who is responsible for mass killings? Be more specific..





We can really blame Iran. Their president is insane. He has said several times that Israel should be blown off the face of the map, and he has admitted to enriching uranium. If you add it all up, Iran is a great threat to peace in the middle-east.
Reply:First of all ,you are all over the board on this issue.The bigger picture is the United States does possess nuclear weapons and yes Israel does also have nuclear weapons. But where they differ from Iran is we are not threatening our neighbors or the world as a whole with our weapons, nor is Israel.All the other issues you site about the U.S. and Israel have nothing to do with possessing nuclear arms.Furthermore, Israel is no more responsible for mass killings of civilians than the Islamic extremists and other terrorists that are trying to bring


them to their knees in the Middle East. World domination is not the aim of the United States but we will support our allies


in that region and Iran has made themselves a rogue state by making irresponsible and irrational statements about the Jews and made themselves unworthy to have nuclear weapon or technology because of the threat they pose to the


region.

Well as far as I am concerned no country should have nukes...so I am waiting for Israel to sign the NNPT (yes,yes,I know it's funny,not going to happen) and for US to respect the NNPT and disarm (same here)...

Reply:Yes, Iran is a threat and has been since the mullahs came to power. Look at the history books. Look at the record. Right now, Iran has its paws in Iraq, persecutes the Kurds (silently, of course) and is contributing, along with Syria, to the destablisation of Lebanon - and, yes, you like Lebanon, it's the democracy you wanted to protect when the nasty Israelis invaded it last year, remember?





And I don't have a 'governor'. I have an elected parliament, duly accountable.





Iran is also one of the world's wealthiest nations, thanks to its oil, and its people live in abject poverty. Not that that's a reason for attacking it - which aint going to happen anyway - but it's often forgotten.
Reply:Iran is only a threat to the Lives of its Peoples and to the Iraqi's, seeing as most of the Islamic Extremist insurgents in Iraq are being sent there from Iran. Although Iran's Uranium Enrichment has caused the International community to believe Iran to be building Nuclear Bombs...which im sure they have done...But Iran is more a Threat to its Nieghbors than it is to the USA. Still they are a Threat to the Stabilty of that region ...and if they continue...they will also be a Threat to the rest of the World.

Reply:I do not really think it is quite the threat the USA makes out. Their president is having a high old time baiting the West but a lot of that is to deflect the criticism he is getting back home. He is a bit like a teenager and a period of ignoring him would not go amiss.
Reply:They are not a threat. What they are is probably the greatest existing oil reserve - that wont deal with the US. Dick Cheney once refferred to them along with other middle east oil countries as "the prize" . Make of that what you will.

Reply:Iran is definitely a threat. For one thing, the current ruler is a total and utter madman who has publicly vowed to wipe Israel off the map. If Iran gets hold of nuclear weapons, then they will hold the entire world hostage. Islamic extremism is something we should all be worried about.
